Digital Fusion

Digital Fusion is a 10-week apprenticeship program that challenges youth age 14 to 19 to push their artistic practices in an intensive course of individual and collaborative art making. This semester, Digital Fusion will investigate the influence of cultural identity in artistic forms and self-expression.  Youth will use digital photography and audio production to complete projects that document their interviews with local visual, music, and performance artists and arts organizations.  Youth will also create personal photo/audio essays to describe how various cultural elements, both traditional/contemporary, influence their own artistic expression.

Digital Fusion will meet 3 days a week (9 hours/ week) for 10 weeks starting the week of October 4th.  A high degree of self-discipline, self-motivation and proven interest in making artwork through digital media is required. Youth will receive a stipend through After School Matters.
