We will hold our annual youth showcase tomorrow (June 23) from 4:00pm to 7:00pm inside the gym at the Humboldt Park Field House (1400 N Sacramento). The event will feature videos, live music performances, video and music demonstrations, free food and a raffle.
At the event, you can also get more information about and sign up for our summer programs which start on July 6th.
Summer programs start July 6th
Street-Level has a jam-packed line-up of summer programs for youth. We have two workshops a day from Monday to Thursday available for any youth ages 8-22. All workshops are provided free of charge. Everyday we provide open studio time for youth enrolled in workshops from 12pm to 1pm and from 12pm to 3pm on Fridays.
Street-Level just returned from the annual Allied Media Conference in Detroit. While there, Street-Level presented a workshop on music production and beat-making and was featured in their culminating performance showcase. On the way back to Chicago, the group stopped off at the Motown Historical Museum.
